The Lower San Joaquin River Feasibility Study is a multi-year, $10 million study that will reach to the southern part of San Joaquin County along the San Joaquin River up to and through Stockton, including the Lodi waste water treatment plant. In addition, the study includes the watersheds east of Stockton, and covers nearly 140 miles of levees. The results of this study will help determine needed improvements for future flood protection systems in an effort to reach or exceed the future 200-year level of flood protection.
